We believe that for a democracy to thrive, participatory governance needs to happen. Participatory governance can come alive at the grassroots if there are active, inclusive, representative local platforms. Active platforms can thrive if people participating in these platforms have the voice and the agency to represent their interests and/or express their concerns. Lastly we believe if people can effectively participate in how public institutions are governed, it given them greater agency to control their destiny. This feeds directly into our vision.
